Design for

Introduction

Since joining MEXC in 2023, I have focused on the development, evolution, and adoption of the company’s design system. I contributed to the MEXC Design 4.0 system across both Web and App, covering foundations, design tokens, core components, component guidelines, motion standards, and the migration of legacy UI patterns. As part of this work, I helped streamline the cross-platform color token system from 257 tokens to 65, improving consistency, maintainability, and collaboration efficiency between design and engineering teams.

Beyond component library development, I led the creation and implementation of an independent design system documentation platform from the ground up. The platform centralized component usage, design guidelines, and specification search, addressing issues such as fragmented documentation, inefficient lookup in Figma, and file performance limitations. I also participated in design reviews across growth, trading, asset, and other business domains, providing system-level recommendations on components, interaction patterns, visual consistency, and specification compliance.

In the area of design efficiency, I collaborated with engineering teams to design and launch AI-assisted design audit plugins and reusable skills. These tools transformed rules for color, typography, spacing, corner radius, component usage, layout, and copy into automated checks and correction capabilities, including one-click replacement with the correct design tokens. More recently, I have been exploring AI-assisted workflows for component generation, specification organization, token auditing, design review, and page production, helping shift the design process from manual, experience-dependent execution toward rule-driven, component-based, and AI-assisted scalable production.
